Starting wizard

First 2 steps:

1. Check the radio button before Find text in a window in the main ScreenScraper window.
2. Click Create task button.

1. Move the cursor over the desired window;
2. Click the mouse button to activate the window.

Choosing screen scraping method

• Native
• OCR
• FullText

Then click Find next button.

Finding text in the selected window

As you can see in the picture below, first there's the Window ID, then you have to

1. type the text you want to find.
2. Click Find next button.
3. And in the end - Generate task button.

Naming your task is mandatory

Name your task then click Save Task and Run.

The result in Notepad:
